What does this mean?
March 14th, 2008Not too long ago I was at an Apple Store to get some work done on my laptop. Heath and I observed the following:A boy, probably 3-4 years old, walked up to the table with 3 or 4 iMacs on it. They al run children’s software and Apple has them at the level of smal ones ot be able to walk up grab a seat, and the mouse, and use the computers. That’s exactly what our dapper young man began to do. He immediately grabbed the mouse and navigated his way to the start screen and chose the game he wanted and opened and prepared to sit down and work at his screen. That’s when the trouble began…The smallish table has these cute, little seats; just made for small bottoms. They look sort of like mushrooms without the stems. As our hero was quickly and easily navigating the computer interface he tried to roll the seat over and sit on it. And he could not get it to work. The seat, that is.It kept rolling around, not cooperating as he moved it with his left hand while his right was busy clicking away through icons and start menus. He wiggled, rolled, tried to spin the seat; all with no luck. Finally, engrossed in the adventure unfolding on the screnn before him; he resigned himself to sitting on the side of the seat and making due with the “not quite right” situation…and worked happily away. What does this mean???
