My Walk to Starbuck’s (not)…
After being inspired by Rachel, and her walk to her local coffee house. I felt obliged to share my “local” walk as well. There are Starbucks around I could walk to, but instead I chose to share with you my “prayer walk” I do everyweek or so and the sites on the way…
Here’s where I usually start, 25th and K Street in midtwon Sac (note the ying/yang “Easter Egg”)…

This is Rick’s Diner and the best deserts in Sacramento!

Future Vox Cafe & Culture Pub?

An area icon, the spaghetti factory, built in Sacramento’s old train depot,

I love the name of this Art Co-op, cool art here,

My “local” coffee shop (I actually live quite a long way from here, but feel called to reach out in this area of Sac…sort of mind altering…) but I LOVE the folks here (the best cappuccino in Sac; I drank mine before taking the pic, so I’ll get one next time!)…

The front door, the rest of the building is low-income housing…a new thing for midtown/downtown…

And finally, the famous “pod” chairs (voted best seat in Sacramento by News and Review)!!

Thanks for coming along…

Hi Eric,
I was there Tuesday through Thursday last week… walked past the spaghetti factory several times. I planned to stay longer, but had to get back to Chicago.
