10 days and counting…VOX Sacramento
Sunday night, June 25, a basement room at the Eastern Star Temple (the women’s arm of the Mason’s) will be convereted into Sacramento’s first VOX Coffee House and Culture Pub. The bands are booked, the plan is laid (sort of) and the pieces (amazingly) are coming together rather nicely.
Oh sure, there’s a lot of work to be done and final preparations to be made; but this is going to happen.
Aswe’ve began to share a vision of creating “Sacramento’s best underground art and music festival” people get excited. Its awesome to see folks begin to take up the vision and then move it forward. I was inspired by the likes of Dean S and Alex M as I painted this vision to a small group of passionate people…now they’ve made this their own and VOX Sacramento is beginning to be birthed and a new personality, one distinctly Sac, one uniquely Sac, is taking shape.
Very exciting!

Hope it goes really well for you. I’d love to be there to take you up on your offer for coffee, but the cross-country trip won’t be possible this time around.
