VOX Sacramento…on the road again
We’ve put togehter a bunch of nutty, amazing missional people to share their time, talent and treasure to create an experience that has begun to pick up speed and notoriety in Good Ole’ Sactown…we’re making a difference in peoples’ lives…we’re reflecting a light much greater than anything we might create and people are attracted to it.
We’ve hosted 6 events since June last year and have come a long way; here’s some thoughts and vital stats:
-
Six events
- Roughly 30 volunteers
- No budget (but money was spent!)
- 8 great couches (I’ve loaded them many times!)
- Creative and dynamic catalysts
- 20 (or more) different musicians and artists
- Over 650 in attendance
- Over 2 thousand dollars raised for fantastic causes
So, sound off VOX Sac, what are the memories that won’t fade; what have you learned; where are we going; what would you do different in the future; how have we grown; what’s your greatest mistake; what will you do to bring VOX to new levels of service, love, creativity, passion and innovation….what if…
We’re listening….

Probably…too much to do and think about. Like what I’m having for breakfast.

well, personally, vox has been changing my life. It has inspired me to take an art history class, a wheel thrown pottery class, and a management class. My focus has become meeting people who can become a part of vox and join us in what we’re doing. When I order coffee out I now try and figure out how I can make something better or more creative. I have been recieving healing, growth, and courage. Oh, ya, it’s all about me baby!
