Even Superheros need a Break

We’ve put togehter a bunch of nutty, amazing missional people to share their time, talent and treasure to create an experience that has begun to pick up speed and notoriety in Good Ole’ Sactown…we’re making a difference in peoples’ lives…we’re reflecting a light much greater than anything we might create and people are attracted to it.

We’ve hosted 6 events since June last year and have come a long way; here’s some thoughts and vital stats:

1. Six events

2. Roughly 30 volunteers
3. No budget (but money was spent!)
4. 8 great couches (I’ve loaded them many times!)
5. Creative and dynamic catalysts
6. 20 (or more) different musicians and artists
7. Over 650 in attendance
8. Over 2 thousand dollars raised for fantastic causes

So, sound off VOX Sac, what are the memories that won’t fade; what have you learned; where are we going; what would you do different in the future; how have we grown; what’s your greatest mistake; what will you do to bring VOX to new levels of service, love, creativity, passion and innovation….what if…

OK, OK…I’m a 24 addict. Its my wife’s fault really. When I first heard about it, didn;t really appeal to me…seemed boring and sort of a weird premise–then I watched a couple of episodes for fun. Don’t really remember much after that. I woke up in the middle of a pile of Netflix jackets and several empty ice cream bowls all crusty and caked in the bottom. But, man, does this show rock!

So right now (we began in mid July) we’re in the middle of Season 5 and I had to take the “Which 24 character are you?” quiz and here’s my result:

Crack me up!!

Yep, we’re gearing up for Season 6 next week!! nnot sure when it starts but I know its soon. Actually, I sort of wanting to NOT watch it and wait for the DVD’s to come out so I don’t have to wait A WEEK for the next episode…sort of lame I admit, sad really me sitting in front of the black TV waiting….waiting….waiting….well you know.

My biggest problem now is deciding which is is my favorite program: 24, Lost or Heros…what do you think?
